Suzero was founded after a bet between the Sam and Ollie while they were studying at the University of Hertfordshire. Ollie bet Sam that he couldn’t give up sugar for a whole month. Sam accepted the challenge and began researching low sugar food products. To his surprise, Sam was shocked to find that some of the best-selling ‘healthy’ snack bars on the market contained as much as half of an adults recommended daily sugar allowance. Frustrated that these snack manufactures were misleading customers, Sam decided to create his own recipe and Suzero was born.
In late 2019 they launched their new packaging and needed help to produce product shots. Working with Herts Propeller they took advantage of the excellent resources in the School of Creatives using the state-of-the-art photographic studios and equipment.
“Herts Propeller were extremely helpful and brilliant to work with when organising our photoshoot. We were able to use the very best equipment, studio and even benefitted from having a UH alumni photographer!” – Sam Marchant.
The photoshoot content has since been used as marketing material for Suzero. Sam commented:
“Without the photos we got during the photoshoot we wouldn’t have seen an increase in online and instore sales. We’re already planning our next shoot to get more great content!”.
