The Design Sprint International 2023 was the biggest sprint yet. With 275 students registered from the University of Hertfordshire School of Creative Arts, and no less that 12 Schools from the City University of New York taking part, the project was bound to be a success.
Our Design Sprint is a five-day process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping and testing ideas. Developed at Google Ventures, it’s a “greatest hits” of business strategy, innovation, behaviour science, design thinking, and more—packaged into a battle-tested process that any team can use.
More ambitious than last year we worked across four time zones with more students than last year with increased involvement of our partners. Students from the School collaborated with students from Brooklyn College in New York and Nagoya Zokei School of Art and Design in Nagoya. Again, they be worked in multi-disciplinary groups, collaborating on exciting industry set briefs to bring to life their design concepts.
