Sasakawa Foundation funding has been secured for a collaborative project taking place with Nagoya Zokei University of Art and Design in Nagoya, Japan.
This project explores the applications of AM as they relate to activities often associated with craftsmanship, namely jewellery design and traditional Japanese pottery.
Through collaborative activities involving designers, educators and students in the UK and Japan we will highlight the ways in which traditional crafts have already started to incorporate AM and think of new ways in which these technologies may be used.
